Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who is a legend in the world of television. De La Garza's parents were both Irish and Mexican American. Her birthplace was in Ohio's Columbus on December 26, 1976. Within a short time, she moved to Texas and completed her physical therapy degree at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas before moving back to Orlando Florida where she experienced a variety of acting roles including local independent films and global commercials. Her passion for acting quickly grew for acting despite the small roles. Her move from New York and in 2001 she landed her first part on the daytime soap show All My Children as Rosa Santos. There were minor roles in JAG the Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men in the early 2000s. In 2004 she was selected for her first role in a series in The Mountain The Mountain, a short-lived television drama. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson
